Tandem Axles: 48,000 Pounds on up to 120,000 Pounds gross weight, if gross weight surpass more than 120,000 tandem axles weight will be 45,000 pounds.
Tridem Axles: 60,000 Pounds.
5 Axles: 108,000 Pounds gross weight.

Superload: Loads that exceed the specified length, width, or weight restrictions or 232,000 pounds GVVW are considered superloads.

Height: More than 15 feet 10 inches 1 escort is necessary with high pole. If height surpasses 16 feet 6 inches might be one escort needed but it depends on routes.
New Orleans for vehicles from out of state, When moving off the road, an escort is required. – The width is more than 12 feet.
– The height is more than 13 feet and 6 inches.
– The length is longer than 90 feet.
Additional Information: When removing an overweight dozer, the blade or side boom may be disconnected and carried with the same truck. Other equipment, such as excavators or tiny pieces (buckets, forks, etc.), weighing less than 500 pounds, may be carried with the same load.
Symbols, Banners, Lights information: “Oversize Load” signs are needed for loads wider than 10 feet, longer than 75 feet, or with an overhang that exceeds regulation limits. Flags are required for any weights that exceed the width limit, and they should be mounted at all corners and extending components. Flags must be used for exceptionally long loads, but no signs are necessary. Rear overhangs of greater than 4 feet must be marked with a flag. There is no need for flags or signals based only on height.
